APC calls for love and prayer for Nigeria at Christmas

The All Progressives Congress has joined Christians and Nigerians extending messages of goodwill to mark the joyful occasion of Christmas which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.

John James Akpanudoedehe National Secretary APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee in a statement urged all to use the season to give and show love, particularly to the needy and vulnerable.

The APC solicits prayers and support for the nation’s selfless security and other essential services deployed around the country to ensure safe travel and yuletide festivities.

The party also used the occasion to assure Nigerians of the government’s capacity, intent and urgency to check and contain all criminal elements so that Nigerians can go about their legitimate activities across the country.

On the 2021 Electoral Act Amendment Bill, APC said it remain solidly-committed to supporting constitutionally-permitted as well as practical innovations and processes that will improve the transparency and credibility of Nigeria’s electioneering processes and internal democracy, specifically the nomination of political party candidates.
