Two New Commissioners have been sworn-in to fill existing vacancies in the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal commission.
President Muhammadu Buhari performed the ceremony before the commencement of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
Those sworn in are AbdulAzeez Idris King from Kogi State and Mohammed Sani Baba from Bauchi state.
State House Correspondent Adamu Sambo reports that Idris King was a Member of the House of Representatives while Sani Baba served as chief Executive of The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
Their appointment for an initial period of five years was in exercise of Presidential powers derived under sections 154 sub section (1) and 156sub section (3) of the 1999 constitution as amended.
The Revenue Mobilization Allocation And Fiscal Commission has amongst other functions to monitor the accruals to and disbursement of revenue from the Federation Account.
