ALAWE CONGRATULATES FAYEMI ON 3RD ANNIVERSARY

The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, HRM, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUNTADE 1 has, on behalf of the entire people of Ilawe Ekiti, congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on the celebration of his 3rd year in office. The monarch who was speaking in his palace in Ilawe Ekiti on the celebration, noted that the performance of Dr Fayemi for the past three years of his 2nd term in office was outstanding. “Dr. Kayode Fayemi has shown exemplary and untainted leadership in the governance of Ekiti State”, the monarch said.  

 

The Governor is worthy of commendation for his performance in developing Ekiti state by executing legacy projects which include the ongoing construction of a Cargo Airport in the State capital, Ikun Dairy project, completion of a standard civic centre for the State, the novel building of a befitting chamber for Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers and tarring of roads in the face of the nation’s economic downturn, Oba Alabi stressed.

 

 The frontline Oba equally thanked and appreciated the Governor for the recently created local council development areas as a way of bringing development and growth to the grassroots. 

 

He commended Dr.Fayemi for positively projecting Ekiti State to Nigerians through his excellent performance as the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum.

 

The monarch also congratulated the wife of the governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for her impactful projects in the State especially in the area of advocacy for gender equality and condemning any form of gender- based violence. Alawe further congratulated the Deputy Governor. Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi for being a strong pillar of support for Governor Fayemi’s success in governance.

 

Oba Alabi prayed to God to grant the Governor the energy, good health and the wisdom to successfully steer the ship of Ekiti State and attain greater heights in our country, Nigeria in the nearest future.
