Zamfara Government approves restoration of Telecommunication Networks.

Zamfara State Government has approved the restoration of Telecommunication Networks in the State Capital, Gusau effective from today.

The State Commissioner For Information Ibrahim Dosara announced this in a statement.

Dosara says the move followed the significant success recently achieved in the fight against the resurgent banditry across the State, as well as the need to lessen the hardship caused to by the shut down of the Telecommunication Services in all parts of the State barely four weeks ago.

The Statement further says the ban on the full operation of Gusau Central Market has been lifted while the restriction on the movement of motorcycles in Gusau Metropolis from 8pm to 6am will now be enforced between 12am and 6am daily.

The Statement expresses Zamfara State Government appreciation to all the law abiding citizens for their understanding and support to the measures adopted towards achieving lasting peace and charges them to maintain the tempo.

Meanwhile, the Zamfara State Government has announced the arrest of more than two thousand suspected bandits’collaborators across the State within the past one month.

The State Commissioner for Information says the suspects are currently being interrogated by the Security Agencies for further action.
