Adebomi Hails Nigeria @ 61, Ekiti @ 25,Seeks Supports For Buhari,Fayemi – Administration

Chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) and former Governorship Aspirant,

Captain Sunday Adebomi (retd)  has felicitated  with the government and the people  of Ekiti State on the occasion of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of its creation. 


In a statement,Adebomi also extends congratulatory message to Nigerians and President Muhammadu Buhari on the 61st Independence Anniversary. 


Adebomi who is the Chairman, Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA)  said the state was not doing badly compared to its peers since its creation 25 years ago.


The ex United State  of America (USA)  Army Chief  said Ekiti may not have gotten  to the desired destinations or fully fulfilled  the dreams of its founding fathers,, he however noted that the had recorded great leaps, particularly under current administration of Dr Kayode Fayemi. 


He saluted the courage and industry of its founders and  argued that the only way to nurture the dreams was to support the current administration to enplace governance. 


“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate Governor Kayode Fayemi and the good people of Ekiti State on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of  our dear  state . While we are celebrating our independence,we must not forget those who fought hard to secure the freedom we are enjoying today. 


“We are happy  that Ekiti is not doing badly amongst its peers .We msynot havegotten to the promised land but on a right path to sustainable development with the able and visionary leadership of governor Fayemi .


“I commended all leaders and governors who have governed the state at one time or the other .The legacies they had put ground is what we are building on today .


” It is an undeniable fact that Dr Fayemi is using his current position as governor and chairman of the Nigeria ,Governors Forum(NGF) to promote the image of Ekiti to the world. And thus has been yielding results. 


” Mr Governor is not only attracting more foreign investors into Ekiti but he is also evolving policies that would gurantee sustainable good production in commercial quantity. 


” This evident in the recent agricultural inputs to about 4000 farmer in Ekiti I want to enjoin Ekiti to continue support the government  of the day to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.”
