Nigerian custom service describes intercepted truck laden with live ammunition rumour as untrue

The Niger/Kogi Area Command of the Nigerian custom service has debunked the rumour making round that it recently intercepted a truck ladden with two hundred thousand live ammunition along Wawa-Babana boarder Niger State.

A statement by the public relations officer of the command DSC Tangwa Emmanuel said the incident had happened three years ago and was made public on most of the National dailies and social mediums.

This he further explained is what is being recirculated describing it as misleading while urging the public to disregard the information.
