IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND REARREST PRISONERS OF JAIL BREAK.

THE IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND HAS REARRESTED THREE NOTORIOUS SUSPECTS WHO ESCAPED FROM THE CORRECTIONAL CENTER IN OWERRI.

THE REARREST FOLLOWED SUSTAINED EFFORT BY DETECTIVES FROM ORU WEST DIVISION, TO CAPTURE THE SUSPECTS WHO ESCAPED DURING THE APRIL FIVE JAIL BREAK IN OWERRI.

THE SUSPECTS WERE REARRESTED IN ORLU, ORU WEST, AND OKIGWE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF IMO STATE.

A STATEMENT BY THE POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER BALA ELKANA, INDICATES THAT THE SUSPECTS WERE FACING TRIALS FOR MURDER, KIDNAPPING AND ARMED ROBBERY, BEFORE THEIR ESCAPE FROM THE CORRECTIONAL CENTER.

THE REARREST ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT, FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIVE OF THE IMO STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, ABUTU YARO TO THE AREA COMMANDERS, DIVISIONAL POLICE OFFICERS AND COMMANDERS OF TACTICAL UNITS, TO ENSURE THE REARREST OF THE PRISONERS, TO ENABLE THEM FACE JUSTICE.

THE SUSPECTS ARE TO BE HANDED OVER TO THE NIGERIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE OWERRI, IMO STATE.
