Federal Government says it is evacuating stranded electricity to deliver more electricity to Nigerians and address revenue losses along the value chain.

The first phase of the project which will cover ten National Integrated Power Project NIPP plants is to stabilize electricity supply in Edo, Delta, Ondo, Ekiti states and other parts of southern region

A statement by the Niger Delta Power Holding Company which is the federal government NIPP implementing agency, says in addition to the evacuation of stranded electricity, the project will see to the upgrade of distribution infrastructure

Nigeria electricity supply industry has been faced with the challenge of insufficient dispatch of power generated and the intervention to evacuate stranded electricity, Federal Government says will provide end to end power solutions across the value chain.
