The General Overseer of the Redeemed christian church of God RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has advocates collective efforts by stakeholders and as well seeking divine intervention in tackling the security challenges confronting the country.
The RCCG General Overseer expressed concerned over the spate of insecurity in some parts of the country ranging from banditry to armed robbery, kidnapping and farmers/Headers clashes, and noted that a lot needs to be done by relevant stakeholders to curbing the trend and ensure adequate protection of lives and property of Nigerians to achieve expected development in the Nation.
The State Governor ,Dr. Kayode Fayemi observed that Government is doing its best in strengthening security architecture especially in counter terrorism and other criminalities and assured of more strategic efforts at ensuring security of Nigerians.
The Governor who believes human perfection is not enough in tackling insecurity, solicited spiritual intervention of the religious leaders to overcome.
The cleric offered prayer for Ekiti state and the Nation at large for divine intervention for an end to the Nation’s chanlenges.
