The two teams are Ado and Ikole local government areas.
On Sunday, Ado qualified for the final after a pulsating 1 all draw with Irepodun ifelodun in a semi final match and eventually carried the day via penalty shootout.
By 5 goals to 4, Ado local government under 13 team booked a place in the final match that will be decided on Wednesday at Iyin-Ekiti.
The final match on Wednesday that will be decided at Iyin Ekiti will be part of activities to commemorate the posthumous birthday of the late Oluyin of Iyin-Ekiti, oba Ademola Ajakaiye.
Though painful that other teams could not make it to the final, but the organizing committee headed by Qozeem Oladapo says all the teams from the eleven local government areas that participated will have reasons to smile as some of their players have been selected among the Best 22 players that will be groomed and tutored as from the next holiday with the hope of preparing them as future representatives of Ekiti state at national age grade competitions.
Some of the sposors of the various teams including Commissioner for Finance, Mr Akin Oyebode who Sponsored Ikole under 13 team, Mr Ayodeji Ogunsakin who Sponsored Ado under 13, Mr Deji Adeosun who sponsored irepodun ifelodun as well as the chairman ijero local government,Mr Ropo Ige who sponsored ijero team all expressed delight to be part of the laudable initiative of the Ekiti state football Association.
The Ekiti football governing body also appreciated the remarkable support from some kind hearted people in the state including the regent, princess Jackie Adeola Ajakaiye-Okarevu who donated the giant trophy and medals as well as cash for logistics ,Ambassador Eniola Ajayi and chairman, Ado local government, Mrs Omotunde Fajuyi who all supported the vision to build a formidable age grade teams that could represent Ekiti state at national competitions in future.
On the path of the players and coaches, they all testified to the fact that they had never seen a competition whereVFREE sports wears and snacks were given to all participating players from the beginning to the end of the tournament.
They all rated the oba Ademola Ajakaiye Memorial Under 13 football competition as one of the best held in Ekiti state giving kudos to the organizers.
