INEC receives sensitive materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN Ekiti State office for Ekiti East constituency one bye election

The independent National Electoral commission lNEC has received the sensitive materials for the conduct of the Saturday bye election in Ekiti East constituency one
The resident Electoral commissioner in the state Adeniran Tellar accompanied by a National commissioner from Abuja, Dr.Adekunle Ogunmola and other top officials while taking the delivery of the materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN Ekiti State office assured people of the constituency and the state credible bye-election.
The sensitive materials received are ballot papers and result sheets to cover the registered voters in the 37 Polling units comprising
Five voting points in Obadore 1,2,3 and 4 as well as lsinbode in the Ekiti East constituency one.
The Resident electoral commissioner while taking the delivery of the materials in the presence of political parties representatives,said it is part of the openness of the Election management body to ensure credible and acceptable election.
The materials were confirmed and acknowledged by the political party representatives before they were moved to the Ekiti East local government office of INEC ahead of the election.
The National commissioner of INEC from Abuja who was at the programme,Dr.Adekunle Ogunmola said INEC is poised to ensure conduct of credible election saying no election is small,as this will send signal of the readiness of lNEC of the next general election in the country.
The Election has been scheduled for Saturday 20th and to commence by 8:30 in the morning with Five political parties (AA, APC, APGA, PDP and YPP) vying for the Ekiti Assembly seat at the bye election in the Ekiti East constituency one.
