Fayemi Ease Lockdown On Worship Centres In Ekiti

Just has the federal government further ease the lockdown in the country the government of Ekiti State has also lifted ban on worship centres from July 19.

The governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi also directed schools to resume as from July 20.

Fayemi further approved that the Oja Oba market in Ado Ekiti will be re-opened only to those with lockup shops. He also compulsory the use of facemask and observance of Social distancing in public places while violators should be prosecuted.

Fayemi who gave the directive in a statewide broadcast regretted the actions of Ekiti People in not observing social distancing even at burial places.
